Phaselis

Olympos is the ruin of an ancient city where the river meets the sea.

The children will love pretending to be Indiana Jones or Lara Croft when they explore the ruined temple, tombs and church at Olympos. You can spend hours wandering the site of the ancient city with new things to see around every corner.

Wear stout shoes and a good sun hat if you want to explore or take your swim suit if you prefer to relax on the gorgeous beach.

From Cavus you can take one of the frequent boat trips, or if you plan to stay and explore, catch a taxi or regular minibus.

Guest tip:
Take a picnic to Olympos, spend the morning exploring the ruins while the sun is not too hot and then enjoy your picnic lunch while cooling your feet in the beautiful river.

Don't miss the amphitheater and baths on the right hand side of the river and the temple, aqua duct and mosaics on the left.
